For all to see the better differences on this change of master hub design, here down an example of proof strike on Silver. Left it is 1965 die and right is the normal die of 1964

To complete all my statements here, I remember 5 years ago I send to coins facts?, to NCG? or maybe ANACS a list of those changes of Observe master hub for Quarters. they post or not, I have no idea. Sure my book talk about those changes in detail on almost 10 pages and will have the right references from Mint reports. The only one who mention also is David Bowers in his Mega Red Book at pages 652 and 653, but very summary explanations. thanks for reading this post.

SunnyNinaD I am sorry you must be photographing freehand. I can not move them enough to match. but here is how we can fix this . I am going to use your coin images I will go and buy them off ebay. see I will use your images as templates. all I have to do is match each coin . then I can photograph them here. SunnyNinaD I will explain later which coin your will represent and matches. this will take a while I have to get these from the USA. so for now thank you . I will be back

Thanks Rocky, I appreciate your help, and in my book I will mention this. I will post separate my coins as you say. Those I own and took long time to find to show that in that year of transition was different dies come from different master hub use. Exist also in silver 1965, but I do not have, I know only 3 example find yet.

Sorry Rocky, I think I do a mistake tapping. The first one it is the hub introduce in 1945 and the second one it is the new master hub introduce for the production of the clad coins 1965. This was lower then the pervious.

silviosi what can you tell me about the 1964 master die. could there have been a test die produced. what I am meaning is was there 2 different dies made to strike coins of that year. why I am asking and maybe this will help you. one bust is bigger than the other. the work liberty one is larger than the other. silviosi do you have anything on that information.
