Hi all,

Just pulled this out of a bank box, the same one which prodouced the 2000 WAM.

The first part of the date is not there.

Could this be a grease-filled die or just an uneven wear pattern?

Full obverse:

Date close-up:

Liberty... also looks weak:

nice Greaser. I'd venture to say this one is missing enough to be worth a few bucks.

Yes, does appear to be a grease victim--would love to see it in-hand, especially the date area. Coin also appears to have been cleaned at one point.

Weight? If normal could be a Grease Fill die issue. If under weight it might be a tapered planchet. But feeling it is a Grease Fill issue.
