I had stumbled across a site talking about die trails the other day and while discovering another die crack, I think I may have found this on this coin. These are like fine hair extending from Lincoln's head near the die crack. What do you think ?

They would appear to be die abrasions, made by a mint worker and then the fields polished after, leaving what you see close to the devices. Fairly common. You will know when you have found a trail die, they are very unique. Some links.

Thanks for the links. Looks like I will have to settle for the die cracks for now.

Slowly becoming a die crack pattern, that could encircle an area that could be an Retained Internal Die Break. Just not there yet on this coin.
