Quote: I got a few more that get a lot of love." Do Share.... morgans dad: My other hobbies besides coins is trading cards (pokemon and yugioh) and firearms. I just got a SW PC 1911 and working on getting another SW PC 1911 and SA Emissary and waiting on the CMP to call me about my US military 1911 order. I only placed it back in November... They each have a decent amount of work and value behind them all. Quote: The collector's dilemma. Too many things on the wishlist, never enough money. Totally true. Its kinda a pain to balance the 3 hobbies and make sure I have enough to put away at the end of each paycheck for savings.

From the mint today:
"Dear Valued Customer, The Mint is pleased to announce an increase in household order limits for all Morgan and Peace products. Beginning on March 16, 2023, the new household order limits will be: "
That kinda makes me want them even less if they're going to flood the streets with them. Looks like 2021 was the best year to get the new ones.

If this is true, then it appears that the so-called planchet shortage was a ruse.
I'm sticking with just getting ONE each. I don't consider those who buy in multiples to be coin collectors; or participate in this forum.

They didn't indicate the mintage limit is increasing, just the household order limit. The subscription page for the 2 coin RP set is currently at 250K; is that what it has always been? I don't recall.

Quote: The Older coins will become More valuable VS these Heavily minted Newer versions... True! Remember, when the 1893-S Morgans came out, they only cost one dollar to get. I cannot picture any time in the future when the MS-60 2023 Morgan and Peace dollars will sell at 12-million dollars apiece.

The mintages of these was announced nearly a year ago (400k for the proofs, 275k for the uncs, and 250k for the set). The mintages are well above the 2021's and there just doesn't appear to be that much interest in them. There could be many reasons: high mintage, high price, no 2022's, low interest in them as a series. The set at a new hhl of 5 was/is probably the most desired.

This how I got it...... Dear Valued Customer, The Mint is pleased to announce an increase in household order limits for all Morgan and Peace products. Beginning on March 16, 2023, the new household order limits will be: SKU Product Name Household Order Limit NH 2023 Morgan silver dollar Uncirculated Coin 25 NK 2023 Peace Silver Dollar Uncirculated Coin 25 NG 2023 Morgan silver dollar Proof Coin 25 NJ 2023 Peace Silver Dollar Proof Coin 25 NL 2023 Morgan and Peace dollar Two-Coin Reverse Proof Set 5 When we relaunched the Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars in 2021, they were greeted with tremendous enthusiasm and sold quickly. We regret that many were unable to obtain the coins they sought. Subscriptions for these limited edition 2023 products opened in August 2022, and the response has been excellent. Thanks to our initial low household order limit of 3 coins each, we are confident that our customers have had the opportunity to subscribe and reserve the coins they desire for their collection. Now, while supplies last, customers have the opportunity to secure additional examples of these iconic coins. Please note, due to high demand and limited quantities the Mint will cancel any orders that exceed the new household order limit. For those who prefer not to subscribe, we have reserved a limited quantity of 10% of each product for sale at launch. We thank you for your loyalty and patience as we continue to improve our system and provide the best possible subscription experience.

Quote: There could be many reasons: high mintage, high price, no 2022's, low interest in them as a series. You missed the biggest factor. Many people flush with government handouts were sitting at home with nothing better to do than to buy coins in order to flip them. Most people are back to work now and money is getting tighter.
