Quote: Well, I use PCGS, and I have vouchers for grading because I have top level subscription, so (and I'll have to check) but for me the grading will be about $20 dollars each, plus shipping and insurance. But I'll have to check - and the price may go up because I'll be asking to 'First Release' in the labels too.
EDIT:
OK since my coins are in the mail - I have 30 days to sent the coins to PCGS, I just filled out my request for submission. And I have 8 Vouchers - these I decided to save for my Silver American Eagle Proof to get graded with. So, not using the vouchers for my Morgan/Peace submission - here are my costs at PCGS: Grading is $17.00 Each First Strike label is $18.00 Each Handling Fee $10.00 Return Shipping $27.00
Total is $107.00 at is charged by PCGS Add my shipping and insurance costs to PCGS (which I don't know yet.) Hey Dearborn, why not just pre-order 70s and not have to deal with ordering at the mint and hoping to get 70s from PCGS? I've seen others say they are going for around $130. You'd be guaranteed what you want for less money and hassle. Also, for even the proofs, wouldn't it be cheaper to send them in at the economy level and save the 8 vouchers for more valuable coins? BTW, there is a quarterly special of get the 5th coin graded free. Just a thought.

Here is my Peace. Almost perfect, there's a very tiny scratch between two reverse rays but can't be seen with just the eye, need a loupe to see it.

Got my Peace $'s today. One appears to be a solid 69; the two others look like 70's to my old eyes! They are much better than the 3 Morgan's I got on Saturday. Was able to get an order for four more Peace $'s in on Friday when a short window of opportunity opened up on the Mint's website. Glad I went for the Peace dollars instead of the Morgan's this goaround! Will probably end up with someone else's returns but it is what it is at this stage of the game!

I just got my 2023 Morgan and Peace dollars. The Peace dollar is flawless. I'm sure it would get an MS-70 if I submitted it. The Morgan is a bit of a disappointment. It has several spots that look like they could be tiny strike throughs, but who's to say? It also has a contact mark at the center of the eagle's breast feathers that really stands out. It might get an MS-69 or MS-68. *sigh* I'll see if I can get images of the Morgan and post it in the next few days. An odd thing about the packaging. The Morgan was only taped with a small piece of clear packaging tape, the peel and stick on the box wasn't removed so the box didn't seal shut. The Peace dollar, on the other hand. was sealed and then each seam was covered with tamper evident tape that advised not to accept without checking the contents if the seal had been broken.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!
