I like the way the mint has done this for the 2023 Morgan and Peace coins. I didn't receive an email from the mint that the 2023 enrollments were open. I found out here, thank you livingwater BTW. Without a general email going out to all past customers, the collectors and enthusiasts who want the coins for themselves are probably browsing and lurking on forums like this or on CoinWorld. Maybe they hear from a coin club, friends who collect or local dealers. Those who have no interest in the coins other than flipping are probably the last to hear about enrollments, unless some APB goes on on reddit, twitter or whatever social media of the week. I'll take this over trying to compete with thousands of others at the same time on the mints website for an hour with endless erors and captcha, only to find they are sold out. I would think the mint had a lot of negative feedback about that from people who missed out on the 2021 morgans and peace.

This morning roughly this many are available: Morgan UNC 166K, Peace UNC 169K, Morgan proof 274K, Peace proof 281K, Reverse Proof set 133K.
There may not be much profit flipping these. We'll see how sales go when they are released.

I have a question: Back in July I pre-ordered total of 10 of the 2023 Morgan Peace dollars, added them to bag. In my order history they show no charge but for some reason say they are shipped. Recently I decided that was more than I need. I want to order just one each. I've never tried to cancel/change an order with the US Mint. I called, talked to a rep and also did a chat with a different rep. I was told their system does not allow orders to be deleted in my order history. They will always stay there. But I can go to my enrollments and change the number there. The reps said I could ignore the orders in my history page and I will only receive and be charged for the number I have in the enrollments page. I don't know if they will create new order numbers of if they will use the old order numbers but have less coins? I'd hate to have them make a mistake and get all 10 coins from the original orders then even more from the changed subscription page. This just seems strange to me. Anyone know about this or has experienced similar?

Decent attrition of available enrollments since the post that was made above roughly 1 month ago. Current availability is:
Morgan UNC: 87K down from 166K Peace UNC: 90K down from 169K Morgan PF: 161K down from 274K Peace PF: 170K down from 281K 2 Coin Set: 58K down from 133K
Who knows, maybe these are all spoken for by Christmas time.

Back to very little movement since my last post two and a half weeks ago. Only a few thousand more enrollments in the couple that I checked. I wonder if the huge drop last month was due to bulk enrollments getting accounted for if such a thing exists?

I enrolled for 3 of the Morgan proofs. That's all I'm interested in at the moment.

Mint website has the 2023 schedule posted. Looks like the proofs will be released in fall of 2023.
