Welcome, go to APMEX or KITCO best to buy when silver prices are low they are high now. The last 50 ASE I got at APMEX were $ 13.00 each but I got them when silver was below $10.00 an ounce.

Personally I will not get anymore till it drops below $ 11.00 at least again.

If you get them in 20ea they are shipped in a coin tube for easy storage.

The 2008 ASE I got were just beautiful not a mark on them.

Hmmm, silver went above $14.00 today and gold is approaching $1,000 again. I bought 3 one ounce rounds of silver yesterday, already have bought Junk Silver and a 10 ounce bar so far this year. If silver does drop to $11 again, I will buy a LOT, but I am still buying some as it goes up, nothing wrong with "dollar cost averaging.

Verno if you are interested in investing just in silver than dont spend the extra money for the eagles. Just go buy 1 oz rounds instead. They are $1-3 cheaper, depending on how much they charge for eagles at differnt places, and you get the same amount of silver! So for every 15 Silver Eagles you could probably get 16 1oz rounds. Those numbers are estimates because silver eagles range in price dramiticly depending on where you buy from
