1935 D Lincoln Wheat Cent - Hint Of Retained Cud

The photos were hastily taken using my phone camera--not my better set up. The feature on the reverse hints at being a Retained Cud, vs a pre Cud. Circulation wear has smoothed the edges. Anyway, I'm sure there could be some debate. Just having fun on a Wednesday afternoon. Report this Post to the Staff

Meaning the affected area is still retained to the die, thus the term Retained Cud. I hasn't broken off the die yet. Looks like this one is almost in the VLDS range.
