on this 1969 D penny is this a true floating roof and no FG it looks like it to me but last time I asked you guys on one of my coins you guys could see that it wasn't when I couldn't and are they still collectible

I see FG in 2nd photo but can not tell if it is a floating roof or not. This kind of thing is just a die event,polishing and adds little to no value to a true collector. Just a FYI.

A floating roof can occur on any year Memorial cent and are fairly common.
The major grading companies don't even recognize them anymore.
As John 1 stated, they are caused by die polishing so there are probably
hundreds of thousands of them out there.

Note also the statue is almost gone. Just a polished die issue. Nothing on the original die was missing, it was removed by over polishing.

For that year, I have about a dozen floating roofs and some no FG too, I've stop looking for them when I crh

I agree, a common die event that adds no value to the coin to a serious collector.
