I will start showing some more Fijian coins through the next few years. Starting with this 3d - as NR said it is likely no UK ones were made in 47 because of this Fijian coin. Before hand Fiji had nothing between the Penny and the Sixpence.


450k were minted and this was a high figure for an island group with 500,000 people at the time.

On the other hand, over 445 million had been minted in the UK from 1937 to 1945, although 1946 had a small mintage of 620k.
