I love the 1880 - S. So bright and such a nice strike, and so many survived in such nice condition. Here is one that just arrived with me. Lustre is excellent. What do you make of the grade?

Is there an issue with "IN God we trust" on the reverse? Damage? I'll go MS-64.

Nice luster and frost. I'd say MS-63+ because of the marks on the cheek (although most of those might be frost breaks in hand).

Very clean fields. That cheek is definitely the holdback here. MS-64+

I suspect more obverse field chatter than is immediately evident in this pic. I'll say MS-63+.

i dont think the scuffs on the cheek are anything more than that. most likely from rubbing with other coins in a bag. it either would come in at MS63+ or 64. no that much difference value wise
