I am trying to complete my Washington quarter collection. I accidentally came across a company, Mount Vernon Coin Company located in Annapolis, MD, which has several coins that I need at apparently, reasonable prices.

I have never purchased from them before. I'm curious if anyone has had any experience buying from them and what the quality of their coins are like.

Thank you in advance.

I've been buying from him since the early 2000's, every spring completing my date sets of the previous year since the Denver mint coins are tough to get in change or a bank on the east coast. The prices are quite reasonable with above average quality, in my opinion. I have been quite impressed with the Innovation dollars, most of which would easily grade MS65/66. So I would recommend him for sure.

In my opinion they are overpriced and the quality of their older classic coins leaves a lot to be desired. I once bought a 1892 Barber quarter that was supposed to be BU. What they sent was one that barely graded XF-40, so I sent it back. I bought some silver eagles from them that have a lot of bag marks. I could do much better on ebay or my local coin shop with both price and quality. I don't purchase from Mount Vernon any more.
