coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/11/2022 11:00 am Could be. On these, if they are the real deal, that is the color of the planchet. (Circulation wear will show the same color) So this might be an example. Just most the of the time found in circulation, it always makes me think it is an altered coin.
