While looking through my penny collection, I found this 1926 D penny with what appears to be several "errors". The unusual one is the B in Liberty. Some areas have very strong strkes and some weak. Pluribus on reverse seems to be partially doubled as well. Your thoughts, please. Having problems uploading photos.. Will try again after downsizing them. Thanks

thanks for the pictures, not the greatest, but workable.
What it looks like to me is circulations hits and flattening to me.

U in Pluribus is a MD, LIB is characteristic for those years strike. Long time ago I asked my self about the strikes of those coins, and I find out the letters on some dies are rounded. This is not doubling, this it is just a result of reworking the Die in order to be able strike more coins, Approx. half of the coins are like this. So no mint error.

Yes, in that time they use in the Mint Vertical presses with relative very elastics floor, which made the Dies press more on one side of the coins then the other part. Your coin it is almost perfect for the year.

I know the photos are a challenge. For your coin I will suggest you to take a close on the date and the Mint Mark. This could be very interesting for the year.

To me it looks like an LDS=late die state issue and maybe some MD=machine doubling. Also has Indirect die transfer on the reverse.

The penny has a very strong strike on both sides with the exception of the "26" and mint mark. Thanks again for your comments.

The date looks like a partially Grease Filled Die but
I don't see anything that I would consider an error
