Here is a question for you "gun" guys/gals: would gun "bluing" cause a clad coin to look like that? Inquiring minds would like to know

Bluing could do this to a coin, but it would also affect the reeded edge as well, which I'm not seeing here - I can see the copper on the the edge.

But if bluing was added to the coin, it might leave the surface with a sheen that would reflect.

The bluish color photos are from the light on my microscope which gives it that blue color. I just zoomed out all the way. So use the darker colored photos of the coin for reference.

With the pictures removed that I took with my microscope that has the blue lighting. What do you think on this quarter? Improperly Annealed¿

Could be. On these, if they are the real deal, that is the color of the planchet. (Circulation wear will show the same color) So this might be an example. Just most the of the time found in circulation, it always makes me think it is an altered coin. Found in an original roll if the only for sure method to find these.
