Hello everyone,

Nearly all Morgans I find in Rome are polished, worn, or otherwise. Curious what everyone things this common date but better condition Morgan would grade.

Thanks!

I'll say AU55, perhaps 58, obverse cleaned?

AU55. I like to see much more luster on a 58

Thank you all. I am buying these around 20-30 euro each in Rome . . . regardless of cleaned, polished, condition, etc., I feel Morgans are a bit more complicated than what I normally look for, but they are still fun to find when all else comes up flat.

Looks AU-55 to me. Have you checked the weight on this one?

IGE, it's 26.77, exact diameter, and pings on the app as authentic. Do you have a concern?

I see A LOT of fake Morgans in Rome; none are near enough to weight, they show obvious casting, are about half a mm off in diameter and do not ping.

Color was my only concern but the coin looks good.
