So I went into the coin store today and purchased my first upgrade for my Franklin half Collection. I came in with the mind set that I wanted to upgrade my 48 D first since it was the one in the worst condition. I thumbed through his album and was confused because he had no BU issues in there so he turns and asks me what I was lookin for and I told him I was trying to upgrade my Franklin Set. He then proceeded to his safe and got out to trays of BU Franklins. His 53-S was the best Franklin I have ever laid eyes on but I didn't have $85 in my pocket, nor did I know what Red Book said it was worth. He had three 48 D BU but only two of them were acceptable to me because I consider toning to be damage. Of the two one cost 35 and one cost 25. The $35 one was FBL according to him and the $25 was not FBL according to him. To me, the $25 was brighter and the "PASS AND STOW" was in better condition. The only problem with the $25 was a bit of a blemish on the top left corner of the bell. At the same time, the $35 one had what appeared to be a tooth mark above the second set of bell lines. I opted for the $25 one because the $35 one wasn't perfect enough. I will post a picture later tonight. How do I do this?

To post a decent size pic, use your webspace if you have one, say photobucket or a place like that.
Use a link that has URL inside [ ] and ends with /URL inside the [ ] brackets with the http: etc. for your image in between.

There is a forum topic on how to do this but you'll have to look around in here and read
