Safe to presume the reverse looks the same? An accurate weight would be helpful.

3.11 grams is a copper planchet
2.7 grams is a steel planchet (Coin will jump to a magnet)
2.5 grams is a zinc planchet.
So it if the weight is 3.2 grams (or over), it is a plated cent. Coin will show a slight attraction to a magnet. (Altered coin)
