Machine Doubling on these incuse devices enlarges the devices. Now do I know these are incuse devices on the ribbon? Not the tops of the devices are not reflecting, the bottoms of the devices are showing the reflection. Then notice the tops of the EPU, the refelection is on the tops of these devices, because they are raised. (Grand Canyon State devices are incuse) Never noticed this before on this design. If it were hub doubling, then the devices would have been smaller in size:
The same as the incuse devices on the Shield cents. MD enlarges, Die doubling will be reduced in size.

Why are incuse devices enlarged on Machine Doubling? Machine Doubling enlarges the devices on incuse devices, die doubling will be seen as a reduction in size on these devices. just the opposite on raised devices.
