You can see the series is 2017A, the $2 is still being produced and you can actually even still get them from the bank. As far as value looking on ebay they sell to casual collectors perhaps for $3.25 shipped when fully uncirculated and from that sale you have to pay fees as well, $19.99+9.95 shipping for 10, or around $75 shipped for a 25 pack sequential. They really dont have much added value without something else going on like a fancy serial number, but are fun to find in circulation and perhaps to hold onto a few that are in the best condition (or from each year/bank if collecting) and have some fun spending the rest to see how others react since the two-dollar bill is one of the most rarely seen in circulation and actual use. There seems to be a lack of public knowledge now that the bill is even still in production and circulation and accepted in all those vending and self checkout machines etc. People are apparently hording them thinking wrongly they are rarer and more valuable than they are. They are almost never given as change for commercial transactions, and thus consumers rarely have them on hand. Although they are generally available at most banks, two-dollar notes are usually not handed out except upon specific request by the customer, and may require the teller to make a trip to the vault, or order the desired amount if not present at the branch.
