Hello everyone,

I found this star note and when I was looking at it a second time I realized you can see, from the front of the bill, the back where the eagle is. I am unsure if this is because of an overinking or somehow the note got degraded? It's a 2013 bill.

I understand what you're saying and if I squint, I can almost see it. It's a faint impression of a circle. It's so minor, and coupled with the condition, I consider the note a spender.

From what I've experienced it's a function of the paper thickness and the intensity backlighting.
I see that result often when I'm scanning notes.

while the notes are stacked sometimes ink from the back of one note transfers to the front of another
