1982 P Quarter Errors OBV & REV

Ondiwave Valued Member United States 275 Posts	Posted 12/30/2022 08:35 am Hello! Obverse: This quarter is missing designers initials. There a die break to the left of were they should be. I have another 82 p that's also missing them. Reverse: At first I thought PMD but the letters in quarter, look like this could be a error that happened during the minting process. Thanks! I guess it could be smoothed over damage but does not look like it to me. The raised rim looks odd to, maybe something to do with the strike and related to your original question.
