1955 S Lincoln Wheat Cent

This coin has an odd looking eye. There are 2 DDO's (eye area) for this year/mm, but this looks nothing like them. Just curious what it could be?

Machine doubling, not a doubled die. Note the affect area is flat. A doubled eye lid rises above that area.

I Liked the coin, it has some attractive toning to me that does not show well through photos, in-hand it shows much better.
