I can't believe I'm posting here again! In the 10 Loomis rolls from the same box searched today, I found 5 Wheat cents, including a 1919-S and a 1925-S. I wish this box would last longer, but I only have 10 rolls left, which I'll hunt through tomorrow. The 1919-S is in pretty rough shape, but you can still barely make out the date and the mint mark. I'm still hoping to find an Indian Head cent, but judging by what I've found so far, it looks like the collection dump only goes back to 1919, but one can hope. Also, by popular demand, I'll post images of the 1924-D in the other thread. I already put it in a flip, so the pictures might not come out great. Anyway, now I have the following: - x1 1891 Indian Head cent- x1 1901 Indian Head cent- x2 1909-P Wheat cent (not VDB) - x1 1916-P Wheat cent- x1 1917-P Wheat cent- x1 1918-P Wheat cent- x1 1919-P Wheat cent- x1 1919-D Wheat cent- x3 1919-S Wheat cent- x4 1920-P Wheat cent- x2 1921-S Wheat centHere are the images of the 1919-S. Cheers!

Well, it happened again today in the last 10 rolls of the box. I found a 1921-P, which is also an album filler. Unfortunately, I did not find any Indian Head cents, but this box with 90% 2023's yielded a total of 25 Wheat cents, so I can't complain! I started on the next box from the same branch, but unfortunately, I think the streak has reached an end. I'm going to try to get another box from this branch on Friday, and see if I can strike gold (or Wheat cents) again. So now I have the following: - x1 1891 Indian Head cent- x1 1901 Indian Head cent- x2 1909-P Wheat cent (not VDB) - x1 1916-P Wheat cent- x1 1917-P Wheat cent- x1 1918-P Wheat cent- x1 1919-P Wheat cent- x1 1919-D Wheat cent- x3 1919-S Wheat cent- x4 1920-P Wheat cent- x1 1921-P Wheat cent- x2 1921-S Wheat centCheers!

Found this mixed in a half roll a few weeks ago, 1869 10 Lepta Greek Coin. Interesting but only worth several dollars at most

Found an 1898 Indian Head cent today in a Loomis box that's 99% new zincoins. I almost returned the box after I got it 2 weeks ago, and it had remained largely untouched. I didn't return it, because I had luck with a couple of boxes earlier that, even though were low in copper, but were high in Wheat cents. The first 11 rolls yielded 1.3 coppers per roll, so the chances weren't good. So you can probably imagine my surprise when this little gem popped out! It's slick but actually in decent condition for a circulated coin that's 125 years old. Not sure if this was a seeder or has been sloshing around in people's pockets for that long, but it's kinda crazy to think that this coin was made in the year of the Spanish-American War, which is crazy! Anyway, now I have the following: - x1 1891 Indian Head cent- x1 1898 Indian Head cent- x1 1901 Indian Head cent- x2 1909-P Wheat cent (not VDB) - x1 1916-P Wheat cent- x1 1916-P Buffalo nickel- x1 1917-P Wheat cent- x1 1918-P Wheat cent- x1 1919-P Wheat cent- x1 1919-D Wheat cent- x3 1919-S Wheat cent- x4 1920-P Wheat cent- x1 1921-P Wheat cent- x2 1921-S Wheat centHere're a couple of images of the latest find. Cheers!

Glad I'm not the only one who prefers "pennies". " Lincoln Cent" sounds nice though. Anybody ever ask for a box of "Lincoln cents" at the bank?

My oldest coin found coin roll hunting was a 1907 V nickel.

Oops I made a mistake. I meant to send to the Antique Coins Found CRH forum. Not sure how to forward my post?
