Back then, a wide variety of historic coins and tokens were sold at tourist spots. A jeweler or coin dealer with an XRF analyzer gun can provide exacting info on a coin's metal content. Check the rim to see if there's any lettering. One of the makers of a great many replica pieces often stamped the word BECKER on the edge.
