Well they are still available. I wonder how this would be if there wasnt a subscription for this coin.

There's 17k of the congrats set and 95k of the regular packaged eagles showing in inventory as of this post. The latter will be replenished as needed, but just an FYI.

Nearly 24 hours later and just under 16K of the congrats set still available (out of 40K). My recollection (perhaps incorrect) is that last year it sold out quickly, with a premium on them in the after market. The ASE by itself has over 91K left.

Quote: I wonder if the Mint kicked itself in the shin with the price increases.. I think the "hype" around the ASE has faded. Two years with low mintage issues (2019-s ERP and 2020v75), last year of type 1 reverse and first year type 2, add in some lower numbers due to covid and supply chain issues and things came together to push up demand on an otherwise high mintage coin. I also think the collectors got wise and went with subscriptions so they could avoid paying the "flippers" on ebay. I'm doing most everything on subscriptions now after missing out on a few. Back on topic, anyone get ship notice yet for their 2023-W proof ASE?

The congrats set is gone, the big boys probably bought them up once the HH limit was lifted. Anyone that had their heart set on one had an opportunity yesterday. Not only do I have a shipment notice, it's currently making it's way through USPS. Left Memphis the morning.

No need for the waiting room for me. I have one on subscription and it was packed and shipped yesterday, March 2nd. Sometime next week I will have my copy of the proof coin.

One thing to keep in mind though, is that last year was the first congrats set with the type 2 ASE, it was still "a little bit of a big deal" due to that and I think increased the interest in it. A year later, I know it doesn't seem like much.

Congratulations to those who were able to acquire this beautiful coin I got to say it's quite nice. My uncle was getting some so I asked him to get me one. Can't wait to see it in person.

What interested me as soon as the coin was out following day or was it the next don't quote me on this it been a long few days for me but possibly even that day silver price dropped in the market(I was like OMG), copper dropped even more. I thought this coin and a few others coming out we're a little bit cheaper than what they were asking for. Did it go up because silver price went off and did sales go down because the silver price dropped that day? I know right now gold went up silver and copper dropped now the gold coins are coming out soon is this the reason it's to play on the market?
