1988 Lincoln Cent With 1989 Reverse?

2foxy Valued Member United States 150 Posts	Posted 03/01/2023 4:07 pm I found this 1988 Lincoln Penny that looks like it might have a transitional error RDV-006 reverse of a 1989 penny. Would this be the case? Thank you so much for your help :) Report this Post to the Staff

Tacc Pillar of the Community United States 3535 Posts	Posted 03/01/2023 4:11 pm To me it looks like the regular 1988 FG with a die chip..judging by the space between the opening of the "G", also distance of "FG" from the Memorial looks like a 1988. It must be a die chip on the "g" giving the appearance of a serif. I sincerely appreciate your help :) Report this Post to the Staff
