Can anyone please tell me if there is any doubling on this 1969 S penny? I also included arrows pointing at marks that I am unsure about, either doubling or possibly something else. Thank you, thank you for your time.
I don't see any errors but there is a lot of post mint damage, the pictures are not good enough to show if there is any doubling. One thing to remember, doubling does not really mean an error, usually it is the result of Die Deterioration or die bounce, or movement during striking and adds no interest or value to the coin. Closer, clearer pictures of the areas in question would be needed.
The '69 S Memorial cent is known for having a somewhat high incidence of machine doubling--sometimes rather strong. Can't tell from the small photos, but keep that in mind.
