The Royal Canadian Mint experimented with these types of "Pop Culture" coins a few years ago with Batman, Looney Tunes, Superman, Wonder Woman etc.

They were seen to "cheapen" the hobby to knick knack level and the experiment ended and the mint went back to producing more conventional coins.

There's not much demand for these coins on the secondary market...like at all.
