Nice find. Are you trying to complete the set from circulation finds?

Congrats on your find. I am only missing 5 varieties from my circulation set, Chaco canyon P & D being two of them.

Within the context of modern quarters, it certainly is! I'm surprised 2010-2012 ATB Quarters are slept on as much as they are, given how much hubbub there is surrounding 2009 nickels and dimes to this day.

I don't know. Judge by how many you can find in circulation? Speaking for myself, this is the only one I have spotted in 6 months of searching. For comparison, the treasured "W" mint mark is considered rare and valuable and it has 2 million mintage per coin version.
PS In response to questions yes I have these two semi rare quarters, found in circulation:
2012 D Hawaii Volcanoes, 46M P mintage, 78M D, America the Beautiful.
2009 D U.S. Virgin Islands, 41M P, 41M D, District of Columbia and U.S. Territories.
Found in circulation, excellent bright condition. Hawaii Volcanoes has beautiful lava spray. It's 10 years old!

Nice find, yes. In relative--modern mintage volume--terms, 22 million each for P and D is on the low(er) side, but not crazy rare. I come across this particular quarter a few times a year--one just three weeks ago. Yes, nice find.

I'm going for a set of the "rare" ones (under (200million mintage). Besides the two shown I have these

I know what you mean.

It took me 6 years to finally find a Denver minted Acadia quarter and I live in the Denver mints backyard.

That is among the longest times for me to find a coin.

I do believe that my record long is 9 years.

That was for a 2009 Denver nickel.

Wow I've never seen Acadia D (rarest of all at 21.6 million) or P (24.8 million). Technically, the Chaco Culture is the rarest overall in the ATB series (22 million at P and 22 million at D).

Nice! One of my favorite designs and very historical theme. Glad you found this one.
