Hey hey diggers!
After a lengthy absence from the fields I finally made it back out for a great dig. Hit some old beat sites to see what was missed in the past and the results were pretty good. I got a new detector over the winter and was itching to give it a try.
My new Legend turns out to be a great unit...much lighter and less wires than my old one..I'm liking it!
Best result for the day was a worn French 30 sols!
This was a new one to me..we find worn one and two sols from this era once in a while..this is the first silver from this era I've discovered. Quite happy with it so I'll be out again soon hoping for another great recovery.

Nice find. Not an insignificant sum of money back then, must have been annoying for whoever lost it.
