Here's a coin that caught my attention because of some details in the date (below). While Krause lists a 1932/22, I admittedly don't know the markers for this overdate, but it's interesting here how extra details on the 3 relate to the 2. Does anyone know?

You have certainly been exploring the Latin American overdates recently, Kurt!

I don't know of any good resource giving the markers for non-U.S. overdates. What I do for coins like this is catalog them as a "possible overdate," and then hope to find another example to compare and contrast with the first.

Thanks--this was just a sighting on ebay that had me wondering.
Since the coin is located in Argentina, I'm not going to bother bidding.

Hi Kurt,
The extra feature on the bottom of the 3 looks like a round ball, which does not line up with the sharp point of the 2 next to it. I don't really see much on top of the 3 other than a slightly amoebic shape. Of course, pictures are no substitute for inspecting a coin up close. So there may still be an over-date here. The Krause book does list this particular over-date variety though, and it's a bit more valuable than the regular.
Can you post obv. & rev. pics of the whole coin? =)
Thanks.

Thanks--you're right, I was probably reading too hard into this one photo.
Of course, it's just this one pic because I don't own the coin
If I owned it, I'd take a much better shot--I just got curious when I saw it on ebay, thanks everyone!
