I may put the 2009 in the list, however I don't actively look for them. Those newer nickels I've trained myself to just pass on by then. Occasionally the 2009 just glares at me and I'll set it aside. I believe I have pulled 16 of them to date so that's 1 every 10,000 nickels.

This was the true find of the last few weeks. This rare, orange pull tab was found in a nickel roll. Wonderful toning, however it has seen better days. (:

Sorry, and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe your orange tab is a modern Chinese knock off.

I sorted through all of my slabbed pull tabs just to make sure. You can see from the certified that there should be three raised dots in the mid-section of the OBV. Yours does not have these three dots. This is likely why someone dumped it instead of slabbing/selling on ebay.

Not sure why it hit me immediately when I saw your tab, but it did. So I decided to share hoping it would bring someone a laugh today. So glad it did!

Not meaning to hijack, but can did anyone notice the "easter egg?"

Easter egg hint...a programmer might be apt to get it easier without asking.

Congratulations guys! I figured jbukc, being a fellow Amiga owner in the past, would get ti right away with that clue.

And OH NO..my lousy typo-prone mistakes showed up again!

I used to correspond a lot with a friend (hand) writing in in ASCII back in the good old Commodore 64 days. After awhile it become second nature (if you can get your fingers not to make a typo that is!!!).

The pun using "asking" just made it too simple right?
