Yesterday, I looked through and organized my 29 or so rolls of pre-1959 nickels. I also have one full roll of 1959 nickels not listed, but I stopped collecting them after that. So adding them would mess up the stats. Of the 20 undated (acid dated) Buffalo nickels, most of them were in the 1910's, one of which is a 1913 type-1. The 1899 v-nickel was given to me, and 5 or 6 undated Buffalo nickels were also given to me. The rest I found in circulation. Quote: Click to see larger image! Great fun searching nickel rolls, and it's how I came about my forum name. My nickel search quest ended at 394,000 nickels searched and two complete CRH sets. I kept detailed stats on my searched a and shared regular updates with the CCF. Here is the find rate thread where I completed my initial CRH set in 2015: https://goccf.com/t/198187Best of wishes to you in your roll searches.
Take a look at my other hobby ... https://www.jk-dk.artToo many hobbies .... too much work .... not enough time.

Nice finds! Though I'm wading through about 13,000 cents at the moment, nickels are my favourite denomination to search. I'm always thrilled to find a War Nickel, and have yet to find a Buffalo with a legible date.
