If by "photo grading", you mean do they grade a coin based on a photo, then no, they don't. For an additional fee, they will provide high quality photos of a coin they are grading.

I ended up sending my coin back for a replacement and it arrived last week. This one looks much better, with no distracting die polish lines. The surfaces have more of a frosty BU look; the first coin appeared more prooflike IMO. I think I'll keep this one!

Congratulations on your second coin, looks like a real keeper. Did you take it out of the plastic holder for those pics?

Yes, I opened the capsule and put the coin on a piece of black velvet to take the photos. The capsule doesn't open easily but it can be done, with a bit of patience. I wanted to be careful handling this coin; it's heavy and gold is soft. Easy does it!

That is one beautiful coin. I think this is the first time I've ever seen the reverse of one that looked so three dimensional.

That Coin looks much better. Other than pure asthetic value, I don't think the grade matters on a coin like this since it is a bullion coin.
