The lack of definition between fingers on the drummer boy might be a result of that, circulation wear, or a combination of both. In any case, I don't think that there is a numismatic premium for this. This coin was generated in an alternate reality where reptiles were the sentient beings roaming the globe, This piece probably got to our reality through a Einstein-Rosen bridge. Actually, the melded fingers are probably from either a bit of grease in the die, or just flattened out from heavy circulation. Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget.
