Pic is a bit blurry,what is your photo taking set up? That is not what is referred to as a red cent, it is toned red from negative Enviromental exposer. John1
Yes, the coin posted above obtained its brick red tint/color through exposure to environmental agents. Search cent rolls for many decades and you'll come across dozens of them--typically from the 40s and 50s, yet some also in the 60s and 70s.
