Hello all -

I was going through some $5's tonight and I noticed this one to stick out to me. I know it's not in the best shape, but was wondering if this was a gutter note? I would appreciate any input, thanks in advance!

Yes, it appears to be a gutter fold error.

It looks like the security thread was removed?

I believe John nailed it.
I just looked at a $5 note in my wallet, and that's exactly where the security strip would be. Good eye John.

I respectfully revoke my initial evaluation.
