Nice Gary, So the 2026 American Silver Eagles have Two coins that are Not Dual-Dated for the 250th Anniversary of America, The Congratulations Set from Philidelphia is One and This Bullion coin is the Second, Correct?

I'm pretty disapointed that it's not dual dated
I was hoping to get another bullion for my type collection

Quote: Two coins that are Not Dual-Dated As far as I know, Mike, those are the only two single dated ASEs without the liberty bell privy mark.

I'm happy to hear about your new ASE proof, Mike. Mine has shipped and should arrive soon. I know I complained about the mint's prices but I now buy one coin instead of three so I will continue collecting ASEs.

A CAC green sticker supposedly indicates a higher level of grading and adds a higher price to the coin. Do any of you have an opinion on the green stickers?

Happy Sunday, I am an Ole School collector, That said I was Not into "slabs" and as decades passed I realized Some of the coins I bought in slabs were valuable( buy the coin, not the slab )., More than those equivalent , Not graded coins.( to a degree ). I saw as time progressed that Slabs are "a safe " pre-determined grade for Many. IMO, Many that do Not trust their own abilities for authenticating/grading have a strong liking for Slabs as do others also. Now the Labels, When PCGS started in 1985, with David Hall leading a group of 7 dedicated coin collectors with the vision of picking a coin that had a consistent, dependable, unseen example. That idea led Many towards slabs as they exist today @ a cost. Then the Authenticated slab labels decided let's get Another form of Certification on the Same slab, CAC comes along and Many older slabs were seeking the Newer CAC label too, Why is this happening, Because Labels are plentiful, as long as people are willing to pay for these services. Now reality sees Slabs have been elevated to a level that Certain slabs bring Much More $$$$$ upon sale of same, So I see Today how slabs have attained this status and the driving force Here is the same it has Always been, Money. Not to say people who collect do Not know how to grade, it is deeper than that there is a following that seeks the next coin, Only in a slab behind a label.
