Drop the nickel in and the next morning you'll have a date and maybe a mint mark . If you let the concoction dry in the small bowl you might get some really cool crystals too. * This will destroy all numismatic value but there's not much there anyway. Have fun ! No MM, so they eliminates any key dates, and the 1916 DDO has doubling visible on other devices that are distinguishable even in dateless grades ( no visible doubling here). Based on a quick glance at the ribbon, it looks to be 1923 or later. Ribbon design changed several times, various thicknesses and curvature. I personally can't stand treated buffa, so I vote keep it as is Report this Post to the Staff
