Are These Authentic Toned Coins Or Artificially Toned? (1898, 1906, 1908 Cents)

Leighbeth New Member United States 13 Posts	Posted 06/30/2023 4:41 pm Im still learning how to tell artificial from authentically toned coins but was hoping y'all could help me on these three attached on whether these are authentic or not. Also, I'm not sure how much these would sell for because I don't know how much if any at all these would sell for with the toning so if yall would know about how much they would sell for that would be nice to get an idea. Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4472 Posts	Posted 06/30/2023 5:01 pm The coins look like the toned work of mikesmountainvalues on ebay. He gets a lot of his toned coins into NGC holders. I consider his toners to be AT and would not purchase any toners from the seller. The toning aside the O6 has a dark spot by the A, and the 1898 has hairlines around the date, so likely cleaned. The 08 colors do not look natural. Report this Post to the Staff
