86-S is a tough coin in high grades, that's a really nice example!

@Hondo you're very welcome. The holders for the Morgans made quite pretty toning in a lot of cases. After it became too expensive to use Morgans, they switched to 90% 1964 Kennedy half dollars. Here is a pretty 1887 VAM 12A - PCGS MS 64: 1887 VAM 5 LDS - PCGS MS 64: 1887 VAM 13A: 1887 VAM 26, Die Pair #2: 1887-S VAM 2: Not going to bother with 1887-O, I have several of them and the best is a PCGS AU53 that has terrible photos!

Parlyse, I'm generally not a fan of toned coins, but your 1887 Morgan is an absolute beauty!

All Morgans are lovely! (I'm totally not biased...) Thanks for the kind words. I've had to sell some of my Morgans but I tried to keep what I can, so anything I post here is stuff I still own. 1888 - VAM 11A - PCGS MS 63 (Rattler holder) 1888 O - VAM 9 - Doubled Arrows - NGC / CAC MS 64
