1998 Unplated Or Stripped Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC 2.5 Gram

I have a LMC that appears as though the copper plating has completely come off, that said it still weighs 2.5 grams. Wouldn't it weighs less if the plating had been removed, also its non magnetic.
