Yes. That is the whole idea of a forum.

If the question is, "Can I do it privately, without anybody else seeing it besides me and the one person I'm talking to", then no. This forum doesn't have a "private message" function. You can send an e-mail to someone through the forum, if both you and your recipient have switched on the email option.

If it's a long, complicated thread and you want to post a comment in it, but wish to post in reply to something a specific person said, then the best option is to quote them. Again, automatic qouting on this forum is disabled, but you can do it manually, by copy-and-pasting the statement you wish to quote, and inserting the forum code
and
on either side of the quoted text.

For example, if I type the following in a forum post:
Can I reply to other people's posts or add comments to a post or have a conversation with someone?
The this will appear in my post:

Quote:
Can I reply to other people's posts or add comments to a post or have a conversation with someone?

The person being quoted won't get any notification that you've quoted them, however; if they don't happen to reopen the thread themselves, they might never see your post.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
