Took my dirtfishing rod up north to Houghton Lake hoping to find a few goodies while vaca' ing with friends. Came back minus my own gold wedding band and a silver coin ring that were both on one finger. Bummer, had already lost my wedding band years ago, it was found by a co-worker. Had it for 23 years, was a good run.

@ John1 - thanks, I tried retracing steps but between trying to hold my detector box out of water and not having a proper scoop, it was difficult to say the least. On a positive note, the water was only around two feet deep 400' out from shore. Very large area to cover and I noticed lots of signals.
