As for Libya, four additional comemmorative coins were minted in 1981, and then there was a 20-year-gap between 1981 and 2001 in which no coins were struck (likely due to international embargoes placed on the country) Report this Post to the Staff

When a friend of mine visited the country in the mid-1980s the newest coins in circulation were dated 1979. When I visited Bhutan 20 years later the newest coins were still dated 1979.
