Looking at Central and South American history is fascinating. I wasn't aware that there was a second attempt to create a unified Central American government, I was only familiar with the 1820s-1830s experiment.

Would Mexico be a part of this union? Is Mexico considered North America or Central America?

Very nice!

I think that Mexico is considered part on North America.
It is.

And if we are talking about the continent, then all of Central America is included as well.

Nice coin Dearborn, but far from one year only.
They were in circulation from 1950 to 1996.
Only the 1949 was a one year only.

Yeah, ok - I see what I did wrong.
I clicked on the wrong link in Numista: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces284500.html
That one is for the 'pattern' not the coin oops..
Thanks for pointing it out so I can update my Numista account properly.

Fun thread!

We've seen a couple of mid-20th c. French Colonies, but I think some are missing.

French Equatorial Africa issued 1 and 2 franc coins only in 1948:

French Polynesia had a couple of smaller denomination types in 1965 we haven't seen yet, like the 50 centimes:
