1919 Wheat Cent - Strike Through? - Coin Community Forum

CreativeName Valued Member United States 65 Posts	Posted 08/27/2023 8:42 pm My personal opinion — The mark across Lincoln's head looks like a recent staple scratch, since it looks like fresh metal that's not been exposed long enough to tone or darken like the rest of the coin. What looks like missing metal above the RTY in liberty is possibly a lamination peel. If not, it's old damage. The rest looks like old damage. Report this Post to the Staff
