The Congratulations Set is a unique gift item to celebrate any special occasion or milestone. The presentation case containing a 2026-dated American Eagle Proof Silver Dollar marks the occasion with the American Eagle proof finish silver dollar bearing the "P" mint mark of the Philadelphia Mint. The coin's obverse (heads) displays renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman's classic design featuring the full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. Inscriptions are "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and "2026." The reverse (tails) displays a rendition of a majestic bald eagle as it approaches a landing, carrying an oak branch, as if to add it to a nest. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," and "ONE DOLLAR." Check out Congratulations Set Coins on ebay

Tonight I received notification from American Express that I was charged for this. Great! So I go look to check the order on the mint website, and it is there and it is - "subscription processing", but click on the order the detail says "on AL Hold". I have never seen that status before. What heck does that mean?

Well never mind. All I had to do is ask. I just refreshed the page and now it says in the detail "subscription processing", so everything is normal now.
I am also subscripted the 2026 West Point Proof, t they haven't charged or started processing for that yet even though it is on the 26th as well.

I'm taking a wild guess but I think it might be "On Allocation Limit Hold." I guess the U.S. Mint will process and allocate it from their inventory and check if the one per household limit criteria is met. The system is probably checking for duplicate billing/shipping address and if it's already allocated, the other order will get dropped. That's just a wild guess on what "On AL Hold" means to me.

I was unaware of a "subscription" for the 2026 congratulations set. I went to the website to try to subscribe but it only notated a 2027 for subscription. You may want to check your subscriptions to ensure you have the 2026 (P) ASE on order.

The allocation for the 2026 subscription is "sold out" for a lack of better way to describe the situation. If you had a 2025 or earlier subscription to the Congratulations ASE Program, you would have automatically had a slot for the 2026 ASEIf you didn't, you would have had to "subscribed" to the item when the allocated subscriptions were still available. I'm not sure if anyone knows how many of the total mintage is allocated for subscriptions, but the mint does hold some back for sale on the day of the release. Under normal circumstances I would say that buying an ASE on the release date would be difficult, but I think a lot of people will cancel their order once they see the price increase. However, I don't think enough people have "Paused" their subscription yet to get the numbers below the allocation, otherwise, people with reminders would be posting that they were able to subscribe to it.

Both my Congratulations P Proof and the Dual Date W Proofs are processing now. Interestingly the "AL Hold" transitioned quickly but the Dual Date took several hours to transition late last night. Maybe due to the higher volumes taking longer to process.
