Quote: It took a few years. I'll bet! Hindsight is 20/20 of course but I wish I had tried harder to fill my 85-98 issues when silver was below $40. Sadly, with spot where it is, I won't be making much progress in the short term.

Mine should get here today but I only got a MS69 :( I don't send a lot of coins but one of these days I'll win the roulette wheel on a 70.

barkeep that's great ...only 70 I might ever have is the one's I got when the basketball coin came out, and that was my first time getting anything graded.

Well, the hype around this was overrated.

Quote: Well, the hype around this was overrated. What's changed? I was watching Silver Wolverine on YouTube, who watches sales reports. At first they (the mint) were reporting going over the limit by 99, then the most recent report has them under the limit slightly, so it should be one of the rarer ASEs (#4). What's up?

We all have a right to an opinion. It's still a low mintage for the series. Nobody knows how much collectable value they'll have years from now. A 30K mintage limit would have been better for appreciation but then more would complain they didn't have a chance to get one from the mint.

Value should pick up again in a few months. Obviously it tanked due to 20k being released after the hype was over

Agreed with all the comments. Maybe a little over hyped. It's just a proof with a Philly mintmark. But then the 1995W is nothing that really knocks you off your feet, either. The true ASE collectors will need it, no doubt. #4 rarest right now. In the future, $200 will seem cheap. I'm not saying "buy them while you can", but if you don't have one yet, I wouldn't sit around thinking too long "There's a time to think, and I time to act, and fellas, this ain't no time to think"~ John Candy

I've already commented on the mint's recent prices but I picked up a few of these because of the low mintage. I got them for the original $175. But, if I needed one I don't think I would go $200.
